A few customers have reported that although Scorecerer Companion on their Mac or PC was able to find the iPad, it took a long time to synchronize a song, and in some cases, synchronization did not complete and Scorecerer Companion just hung.
Based on a few experiments, we have determined that this issue is due to a poor wifi connection between the iPad and your wifi router. This can happen if you are too far away from your router.
The solution is to move your iPad to be closer to your wifi router so that you have a good signal. Then retry the synchronization process
- Restart Scorecerer on your iPad and press the blue sync button
- Return to the room where your computer running Scorecerer Companion is located
- Restart Scorecerer Companion and then click on "Sync with iPad".
- Scorecerer Companion should immediately detect your iPad and then you can start the sync process again.
