Using virtual page ordering

The virtual page ordering feature lets you repeat pages in your song without actually having to duplicate them. This is useful for such things repeating verses and DS al coda. You continue to just touch Next and Scorecerer will follow the page numbering sequence you define. To define a virtual page numbering sequence, follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to your playlist
  2. On the far right, there is a blue arrow for each song in the playlist.
  3. Tap the blue arrow for the song of interest. You should get a dialog box with some options.
  4. There is an option called Page Ordering. Turn that option on
  5. Enter the desired page number sequence into the field beside the option switch. Separate each page number with a space. Do not use commas. For example
       1 2 3 4 3 5 2 3 7
  6. Touch the Save button to save your ordering.
When you load that song, the page number at the top will now have two parts to it, with the first number being the virtual page number (so you know how far into the song you are, taking into account repeats and so forth) and the physical page number in parenthesis.
GRAY BAR IN iOS10+
If you have iOS 10 or later installed on your iPad and see a gray bar covering the menu buttons please do one of the two things:
  1. If you are not using Bluetooth pedal to turn your pages - switch off bluetooth support in Scorecerer preferences
  2. You can also go to "Settings->General->Keyboard" on your iPad and turn off "Shortcuts" option

IMPORTANT NOTE
If you are having trouble syncing with your iPad, please make sure that
  1. You have iTunes installed OR you have installed the Bonjour service. (Windows users)
We have heard that completely uninstalling iTunes and then reinstalling it fixes the problem for most users.
  2. Your iPad and your desktop computer are connected to the SAME network!
  3. You have not disabled Bonjour (Windows users)
  4. Your firewall is not blocking Scorecerer (Windows users)
  5. Your iPad has a strong wifi signal from your wifi router, i.e, you are not too far away from your wifi router
