Scorecerer iPad and Scorecerer Desktop Companion

There are two main parts to the Scorecerer system

1) Scorecerer and Scorecerer Lite

These are applications you can purchase from Apple via the App Store. The difference between these two apps is that the latter is free but only holds 15 songs and has some other minor restrictions. It is intended as a way to try out Scorecerer to determine whether it is suitable for your needs.

2) Scorecerer Desktop Companion
This is a free application that you download from our website to your Macintosh or PC. It is used as a helper to import scanned sheet music, optionally straighten it and remove unwanted borders and then publish to your iPad. There is no license file required to run this free application

You can choose to purchase Scorecerer Pro. This is an enhanced version of the Scorecerer Desktop Companion and has features useful for those with more professional requirements, such as the ability to import all songs in a folder in one go. This is useful if you have a large amount of sheet music.
You can download a trial version of Scorecerer Pro from our website and test it for 14 days. During that time, all imported music will be watermarked before being published. Again, the goal is to allow you to determine whether Scorecerer Pro is suited to your particular needs.
When you purchase Scorecerer Pro, you will receive a license file, called Scorecerer.lic, that will remove the watermarks and allow you to use Scorecerer Pro fully. If you have not received your license file after about an hour, please check your anti-spam folder.

If you have iOS 10 or later installed on your iPad and see a gray bar covering the menu buttons please do one of the two things:
  1. If you are not using Bluetooth pedal to turn your pages - switch off bluetooth support in Scorecerer preferences
  2. You can also go to "Settings->General->Keyboard" on your iPad and turn off "Shortcuts" option

If you are having trouble syncing with your iPad, please make sure that
  1. You have iTunes installed OR you have installed the Bonjour service. (Windows users)
    We have heard that completely uninstalling iTunes and then reinstalling it fixes the problem for most users.
  2. Your iPad and your desktop computer are connected to the SAME network!
  3. You have not disabled Bonjour (Windows users)
  4. Your firewall is not blocking Scorecerer (Windows users)
  5. Your iPad has a strong wifi signal from your wifi router, i.e, you are not too far away from your wifi router
